Breeze is an energetic Arabian horse who loves to play. One day, when his friends are resting, Breeze decides to explore beyond his home at Applewood Stables. As exciting as his adventure is, Breeze learns that there is no place quite like home
The story of Breeze is loosely based off of true events. Breeze really did break out one day and was gone for hours and was found miles away! He has never fessed up to what he actually did while he was on his adventure.
The back of every book is signed with Breeze's actual hoofprint!
Kimber has plans to write and illustrate more books featuring real life horses and the adventures they have had.

Breeze
Breeze is an Arabian horse. He is the first horse of the herd to star in the Applewood Stables series!
Chief
Chief is a Standardbred horse and the oldest of the herd at age 31! He was a harness racing horse in Michigan until he retired at the age of 6.
Annie
Annie is a Peruvian Paso horse. She is a big sweet heart and trusting of many new things she's been introduced to.
Texas
Texas is a solid colored Paint horse with 'chrome'. Before he came here, he was a public riding stable horse.
MEET THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE HERD
Tailwind
Tailwind is such a wonderful boy. Before he came to us he did many things with 4H kids: Shows, drill team and lessons. He's even made a few trips out west! Everyone loves Tailwind! :)
Flash
Flash is the shortest member of the herd. He arrived in July of 2023. He is half Morgan and half Peruvian paso. He has proved to be a great trail horse and is a pro at camping overnight.
Hawk
Hawkeye (Hawk for short) is a palomino appendix quarter horse. He is trusty stead and we've recently found out he does very well on solo rides. He loves to enjoy the scenery just like us!
Odie
Odie is the newest (and tallest) of the herd. He is a Clydesdale and truly a gentle giant. Odie loves to be by people. He trail rides and drives single, double and unicorn. This big guy has filled out hearts already.
