The story of Breeze is loosely based off of true events. Breeze really did break out one day and was gone for hours and was found miles away! He has never fessed up to what he actually did while he was on his adventure.
The back of every book is signed with Breeze's actual hoofprint!
Kimber has plans to write and illustrate more books featuring real life horses and the adventures they have had.

"This book was great not only for my own children but also for my day care kids. They loved the book, the drawings, and they loved that this book was about a real horse! They wanted to read it over and over again. They love the colorful pictures, and how they can relate to the horse!I love that the writer is local and did all of her own artwork, it's beautiful.
