Applewood Stables Creations
It was the year 2020 and I was looking for more things to do (even though crafts shows were being cancelled left and right). I've always been a collector of Breyer horses and had many old beat up and battered ones that could use some TLC. So, Painted Poneez was born! These take a lot more time to create and are my more pricey items. I don't make these as much as the popular horseshoes-but I enjoy seeing what my brain comes up with for these. They are hand painted with acrylic paints and, as with the horseshoes and stirrups, one of a kind creations!
Starstruck
Starstruck was created for my love of the night sky. He has many actual constellations on him as well as the milky way. The milky way and constellations (as with his forehead star) all glow in the dark!

Botanical
Botanical is a lovely fleur horse. Her base coat is textured to resemble bark and she is covered in many paper flowers and greenery. She shimmers in the light. Finished in gloss.

Black Cherry
The very first Painted Ponee. I created Black Cherry as a nod to my home of Door County- where cherry trees are plenty! She has since sold and made the trip to Florida. :)

Named after the Egyptian God of Sun. Ra is sealed with a gloss finish. His golden tones sparkle in the light. Ra is for sale.
